Christy brings more than seven years of experience auditing companies that file with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as well as privately-held companies. She works primarily with companies in the industries of manufacturing, retail, technology, and construction. She is also well-versed in auditing defined contribution benefit plans.
Since joining Mark Bailey & Company in September 2005, she manages several of the firm’s larger-company audits. Christy takes a leading role in staff training, hiring, and in firm-wide quality control practices.
Prior to joining Mark Bailey & Company, Christy was a member of the SEC reporting department for Washington Mutual Bank, both preparing and reviewing disclosures for SEC filings and coordinating internal SOX 404 testing of the SEC and internal financial reporting departments.
She began her accounting career with Deloitte & Touche, where she worked on both privately- and publicly-held domestic corporations.
