Julia is the Tax Manager at Mark Bailey & Co. with extensive experience in public accounting, primarily in taxation. Julia regularly consults with our clients on all tax-related matters, helping them to understand their tax options and maximize tax benefits, whilst ensuring compliance with current tax law.
Julia started her accounting career in the tax department at Grant Thornton, and joined Mark Bailey & Company in 2007, after briefly working for another local accounting firm. Julia now oversees the operations of our tax department, providing tax compliance services, tax planning, IRS representation, and tax provision support. Since joining the firm, Julia has assisted a number of clients to overcome IRS audit and other tax compliance issues.
Julia has a broad knowledge of tax law pertaining to corporations, partnerships, individuals and trusts. She currently specializes in corporate tax, with expertise in issues pertaining to acquisitions, reorganizations, earnings and profits, consolidations and S-Corporations. Julia is also experienced in multi-faceted tax structures, such as multi-state and trans-national operations.
