Marty is now a partner at Mark Bailey & Company, Marty joined the firm in mid-2004 as a senior audit manager. He is responsible for the firm’s public and private company engagements and provides consulting services for non-attest public company clients. His consulting is usually related to internal control implementation, MD&A drafting, SEC filing preparation and review, and registration statement preparation.
Prior to joining the firm, Marty was a senior accountant for Kafoury Armstrong & Company, a large regional accounting firm in Nevada where he led audit engagements in various industries. He has heavy experience training and supervising audit team members. Marty also spent three years in the San Ramon, California office of Thomas Havey, LLP (formerly and currently Lindquist & Company) as a staff accountant.
Prior to entering the accounting profession, Marty obtained Series 7 & 63 licenses and served as a financial advisor in the Walnut Creek, California branch of Morgan Stanley.
